The artist gravitated to this particular scene in the cult classic "Pulp Fiction", the reason, it reminded him of a modern view of David Hockney's "Portrait of an Artist" (Pool with two figures). In the scene, Marsellus Wallace and Mia Wallace are pool side when a call comes in from Jules saying that he and Vincent find themselves in a sticky situation. Marsellus assures Jules that everything will be ok since he will be sending the "Wolf".
