I guess it is my personal little fetish towards all technical and old school. I took the photograph of a Soviet time reciever at Tallinn city museum where they have a nice variety of things from the country's Soviet era. When I looked at the photos taken afterwards the idea of the painting was immediately born.
Unframed, covered with UV protecting coating.
