Artwork description:

I was asked recently to produce my representation of the amazing rail viaduct and aqueduct just outside Marple in the Peak District. The results viewed here were a little bit of labour of love for me. To capture the essence of these two magnificent Victorian structures was tough. I was keen to represent the way they nestle amongst the mature trees in the valley.

This print was created using four layers of colour. I love the vivid red/pink of the structures and how they contrast with blue/green blend of the trees. I've then added a deep blue layer of detail, shade and texture. Overall I'm really happy with the finished result.

The print is 420x297mm is size. Printed using lightfast acrylic ink on 300gsm off-white Cannaletto.

The edition is 15, each print is signed, titled, editioned and monogrammed.

Colour and layout may vary slightly across the edition. This is due to the handmade nature of the printing process.
