Original artwork description:

I like to use familiar objects within contemporary art, from the duchampian notion of the ready-mades, ready-mades are utilised by heavy weight contemporary artists. I like to use these themes with the medium of paint as obsessively working to recreate realism in another form, automatically becomes self-contradictory to the very thought of a ‘ready-made’.

Animals are such an integral part of our daily lives, from the very beginning that we somehow end up taking them for granted, and that we come to see them as accessories to the human condition, I want to get rid of this notion within my work and elevate the animal and the object beyond human egotistical beliefs and conditions.
