Original artwork description:

This painting is inspired by the famous painting "Cafe Terace at night" by Vincent Van Gogh. I adapted this painting to the city Groß-Umstadt, where i grew up. It shows the Marketplace under a starry night. The painting brings feelings of a nice and cozy summer night in the city. The thick impasto brushstrokes in the sky makes the painting lively and gives a moving impression.
