This is one of my early work which was influenced by China Northwest countryside life. I was living with these nice farmers for a month. Their market was full of life. Their clothing and headwear present the style of Shan Bei countryside farmers in 1980's. This piece earned Edwin Gould Foundation Awards in 2000, in National Arts Club.
