Original artwork description:

Painted in acrylic using acrylic glaze, gesso and beginning with a background of accidental splashes and runny paint.

The marionette dances, controlled by hands that also spin the galaxy. But is the galaxy real or is it merely the backdrop to a drama that involves the arrival of a shadowy creature.?

I attempt to understand the nature of our creation, born from the stuff that made the stars and the universe yet controlled by an unseen hand that sometimes propels us sometimes limits us.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas
