Marilyn Monroe has been the subject and icon of many artists. In this work Milena creates her own version by inserting it into her "Figures of dust". In fact, the portrait of Marilyn was painted in oil on a white panel and was combined with a plexiglass panel worked with pigment and oil, the pigment was engraved and corroded in an abstract way to enrich the texture of the work which is surprising and intriguing.
There is a fusion of expressionism and pop art with a semi-abstract touch to capture an eternal energy. The oils, graphite and pigments accentuate the depth and textures that highlight the portrait, intertwining deep blues and mysterious grays. Each brushstroke aims to explore the emotional intensity and complexity of the human soul. This art will bring a vibration of mystery and timeless charm to your home.
