Original artwork description:

A monochrome watercolour. Inspired by old photography of local town scapes in Thanet. The Victorian clock tower still remains at the far end of Marine Parade. The townsfolk always appear to be in less of a hurry than we are today. The seafront road is much the same now as it was in 1900. However more people about and plenty of traffic.

Materials used:

watercolour paper and paint in warm sepia
