The work is part of a series of works born without being in a specific research but it was life that, as I experimented and cut out and combined, at one point the word wonder joined the drawings that I had set aside. Thus this work was born. I was ignoring some drawings and then placing a frame printed on canvas with a dark background on them, I saw how this frame made the work stand out, gave it a completely different shape. In this setting I have come across the word wonder for a series of reasons too long to explain. The substance is that when we don't put amazement (like that of children) we risk forgetting, setting aside, letting go of some things that seen under the lens of wonder and amazement, we discover a new, useful, beautiful and interesting form for us. The work is on paper. I used pasetlli, ecoline and small parts of oil. A very thin frame printed on canvas is glued on top, it is a photo of an ancient lace. All supported by a thin canvas.
