A favourite London walk, through Marchmont, brings me to a house I have never noticed, its frontage a striking green stucco. It is festooned with beautiful purple and red flowers. The windows are shrouded with nets, reminding me perhaps of an ancient wedding dress. What lies inside? I love London’s small hidden nooks and crannies. The work would make a perfect addition to any collection and a great souvenir of London.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
