Original artwork description:

Walking along the marsh I an struck by the beauty of the day. An Egret stands eagerly hunting frogs and fish for dinner. I see the channels of water as they wind to the open water. The watercolor sky is reflected in the still water below. Everything that moves, sings, buzzes is registered in my brain. I exhale filled with the wonder and love of nature. I hope I captured the day in this 18" x 24" painting. I have recently painted the sides for hanging without a frame.

canvas, wood stretchers, acrylic paint, ink, acrylic gel varnish
