As a metaphor, "Mappy" is the artist's vision of the multiple turns taken in his life to get where he really wanted to go.
In the center, a cut-out map, green arrows are there to find one's way in space. At the top of the work, streetlights that no longer light up... At the bottom, the crossroads. Only the target in the middle indicates where he is, as an anchor point for a new start.
