This artwork is a scenery of a Japanese garden within the centre of a Japanese Maple tree.
Jennie painted this new impressionistic style with thick oil paint. She started developing this unique style in 2022. This painting is the sixth one in the series.
With a height of 150 × 100 cm, this is a painting on which the artist has been working intermittently for several months. The work is both moving because of its colour and robust because of its structure. It is an open work with countless strands of waxy and bright colours and brushwork.
