Original artwork description:

Painted on-site in my neighborhood in Minneapolis. Features a tall maple tree with the shape and color of a marquise jewel. The tree is in full autumn color, with deep burgundy red shadows and salmon pink and orange-red highlights. It is complemented by an autumn landscape including fallen leaves, bright yellow foliage in the background trees, and a brilliant blue sky.

Painted in oil over casein paint on board. Oil paint applied with palette knife for textural contrast.

Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a black crackle finish and an antique gold inner and outer edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
