More than a generation has passed since the town of Mansfield was shattered by the demise of the coal and textile industries. Redevelopment since has been modest and piecemeal. On the upside, in many streets, houses originally built all the same have been modified at different times and in different ways, to the point where no two dwellings are now the same. If you are interested in overwriting and a variety of patterns and shapes then you will find no end to the patchwork created by the residents of Mansfield.

Japanese Sunome Senka paper, oil-based printing ink
