Original artwork description:

At the Manoir de Botcol Artfinder Residency weekend which I took part in last May, I met Danny. Danny is a very large Spanish dog and he was absolutely wonderful. He was one of these huge loving bear dogs that you just want to hug and hug. A perfect example of man’s best friend.
I have stitched him and the doorway he is standing in onto a lovely old French vintage linen fabric using free embroidery on my sewing machine. Then I have painted him and the surroundings using layers of gouache.
I have stitched the title of the collage and my signature onto the front of the painting.
This painting is sold un-framed but I have included a photo of it framed so you can see how lovely it looks in a frame.
