Original artwork description:

One of a series of my experimentation with circles and squares, recently I have started to add erratic lines to this essentially mathematical design. The result is something akin to op-art, but that is accidental: so far I have tried in my abstracts to create contrast on a flat surface. I call this series Mandala because I sense a similarity to Buddhist meditation vehicles with concentric squares, but, for obvious reasons, I don't recommend this work for meditational practice...
