This is an urban sketch in ink and watercolour, of a street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.
True to the principles of urban sketching, I drew this in ink on location. However, I added the watercolour back in the studio.
The sketch is on 10 x 7 inch Daler Rowney Langton watercolour paper, rough grain torchon 140 lb, 300 gsm.
