Initially the first layers on these three paintings were done separately; they were not intended to become part of a triptych. As I went through my stack of first-layer-paintings, I noticed I could combine all three of them in one painting (but still had to 'meld' them together). This happens often with my multi-panelled paintings, which leads to the most interesting results.
I chose an extra thick frame for this one. Since this painting is also extra deep (4 cm) this makes for an extra robust feel.
The sides of the painting are the same colours as the front. The painting is varnished, ready to hang and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
