Original artwork description:

I have done a series of flower study paintings in round and square format so that they resemble mandalas. I am currently creating a series of five petalled flower images on black backgrounds, this wild mallow flower being one of them. Using a combination of watercolours and coloured pencil for the flower study I then create the background with marker pen and acrylics.
