Original artwork description:

While living in Tallinn, Estonia I became a bit obsessed with the main local souvenir the Matryoshka. On visiting Russia I found a society with great diversity. I painted a large number of different Matryoshkas showing all types of things I noticed in St Petersburg.

This Malevich Matryoshka is painted onto canvas stretched over an inside frame. The canvas going around the corners is painted the same colour as the back ground. For this reason the painting does not need framing. I can post the painting so it is ready to hang.
