A sculpture that explores the male symbol through the language of metal lace.
The male symbol is revealed here in its nakedness, without artifice. He is both strong and vulnerable, anchored in his identity and open to the world. Each detail, each interlacing of the material tells a story, an emotion, a facet of the male being.
Metal lace allows us to play with light, to create transparency, to suggest rather than impose. It is created by dripping steel and bronze together.
Steel base, diameter 8 cm.
