Original artwork description:

This was painted directly from the live model--my favorite way to paint! It is oil paint on heavy gessoed watercolor paper. This makes it easy to frame as you would an oil painting, watercolor or drawing. I prefer to mount them on mat board and then put glass over the top so that the deckled edges of the paper are visible.
