Mairi’s Cottage - last autumn I spent just over a week in a lovely house on one of the Outer Hebrides islands. The excellent cook who worked in the house, Mairi , lived just across the loch , and her cottage inspired this painting.

The painting is shipped wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.

I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
