Maiden with the Seagull is an iconic statue of a nymph with a seagull, created in 1956 as a symbol of Opatija, a gorgeous coastal town on Istrian coast with rich history. Istrian coast is a part of Croatia and is just an hour away from the capital of Slovenia where I live, and the coastal towns are all connected with each other through a picturesque path along the coast. Definitely one of my favorite parts of Mediterranean!

DETAILS: All of my art pieces are painted on 100% cotton watercolor paper with professional quality watercolor paints that don't fade over time. All of my works are original, unique, designed and hand-painted by me. Please note that the colors displayed may vary from monitor to monitor.

MATERIALS: Watercolor, 100% cotton paper.

DELIVERY: The painting is ready for shipping. It will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap for protection and shipped with a tracking number (you will receive an email from Etsy). I try to ship paintings the next day and they usually take around a week to arrive.
