Some time ago I discovered a soviet drawing album among some long-forgotten documents of my family. My guess is that it is about 50 years old, or maybe even more. The paper in it is a bit yellow-brownish, and I adore how colours look softer on it.
This artwork is the very first one on the album. As it quite often happens to me, I just saw an image in my mind, which might be inspired a bit by the famous Lady of the Lake from the Arthurian cycle - cold morning mist, silence, and a woman sleeping next to the water.
