This image is a zinc etching of a model/ fellow artist. The term 'Maid' is used representing the Cornish vernacular which translates to 'girl/ girl friend'.

The study of the female form is from the worm's eye view, drawn like a photo negative [inverted], rather than in the usual positive aspect, giving an alternative sensibility of feeling and setting.

Framed in an antique white frame mount with backing board and protected with a sealed poly pocket.
