Original artwork description:

Magnolias have always been one of the most amazingly beautiful flowers for me: the subtle beauty of its flowers, the tender perfume when around it. This piece was painted in plein air, in the Botanical Gardens, Gothenburg, Sweden. Although my work tends to be “tighter” because I mostly work in my studio, I considered this piece to have the freshness and immediacy that can only be achieved on location. I, therefore, decided not to touch it up back in my studio.

Materials:
Best quality professional oil paint on linen canvas. A coat of Gamvar varnish has been applied for protecting the painting.

Style:
Plein air; Impressionistic

Signed and dated on the back.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included with the artwork as well.
