My original photograph of a typewriter was used to extract the letters. Then I created inspiring phrases - abbreviated, visual typewriter poetry. Within this structure of 3 letters across and 4 rows down, some statements fit exact and others are abbreviated. It's also a conceptual statement about how we communicate now.

Handmade paper from Nepal was selected for its spiritual connection and earthy color and texture. It is printed with archival inks, then hand-painted uniquely with tones, yellow, white, rusty red, black, metallic gold, grey, silver.
