Now the story behind this painting....

My father passed away this year and one day after his passing very early in the morning I was looking at the beautiful sunny, morning sky, there was a mist and fog in the air and in my mind I was thinking that he will never feel the warmth of the sun, the breeze of the ocean, enjoy the sight of a blue sunny sky and do the things he liked to do. I started to get very sad feeling and all of the sudden my mind flipped and I felt happy and realized that the place where he is now has all of that, without the pain, stress and the hassle and rush of daily living on this planet. It was almost like he sent me a message to let me know that he is happy and he can finally do the things that he couldn't do in the past year, like fishing and enjoying the nature, taking a swim in the ocean.... I felt warm and happy feeling and all of my sadness went away. It was a very strange experience. I realized that the life goes on and we should enjoy every day of our lives and live it. Spend time with your loved ones, say I am sorry, tell them you love them.... Once they leave us, there is nothing we can do. No matter how hard we want to bring them back, we cannot. We cannot turn back the past, correct our mistakes, apologize. All we have left are the memories. This is an original oil painting on 16x20 inches stretched ready to hang canvas.
