Brentor Church can be seen from Laure’s garden and is a constant source of inspiration for her. It can be seen for miles around, has a mystical quality and is is often conveyed as a magical landmark on Dartmoor.
Here, Laure has captured the mistiness of Dartmoor together with the bright colours of the gorse, heather and Summer wild flowers.
This painting was created with oil paints, palette knives and loose strokes.
The canvas is painted around the sides, signed and titled on the back.
