Original artwork description:

“Letting Go” is a painting about the resilience of children who often shock adults with the emotional strength they can possess at a young age. I don’t normally talk about a painting but considering the current situation we are all in I know there are a whole lot of worried parents and I have a thought on the subject I want to share. First of all I am not a parent so I in no position to judge but as an outsider looking in I am always amazed how fast young kids master technology as an example. Maybe it’s good to think of the world ahead like that. It seems disorientating and scary to us adults but children are quick to adapt to new worlds and will succeed in whatever world we end up giving them. _x000D_ This is an 18x24 Oil On Cradled Panel I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them. This piece will be carefully packaged using protective materials and dispatched via a tracked courier. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
