"Laying lavishly on a superb worn-out classical armchair in the studio, Magda was asking if we like here pose" said Dominic Virtosu. "Myself and artist friend Helene Deghilage had asked her to pose for us in a live session and we were very excited to start working".

"Magda Relaxed" was painted in one sitting using exclusively left hand technique. The painting's natural beauty radiates from loose paintbrush gestures, while the soft light that was bathing the studio that day is expressed through warm pastel colors infusing the canvas surface.

Magda has taken a relaxed pose, she is listening to a burlesque show and laughing. Her demeanor is loose as the session progresses.

This work is an expression of intimacy, a boudoir like glimpse into the "behind-the-scenes" of a burlesque rising star.
