Original artwork description:

The painting takes it's inspiration from the Irish myth of 'Medb' (Maeve) warrior queen of Connacht, who went to war with king of Ulster in order to steal his prized stud bull, so that she may be equal in wealth to that of her husband. I was focusing not so much on the motivation of this particular story but more so the archetype of the strong determined woman, willing to get the job done no matter that cost.

Materials used:

Oil paint
