Original artwork description:

Representing the human body has been one of the major themes throughout art history since prehistoric times.
This is one of a series that I am working on depicting females in various poses and showing a variety of expressions. From Di Vinci’s Mona Lisa to Warhol’s Marilyn, more works of art have focused on the female than any other subject, and for good reason. For this particular work, the youthful female figure becomes the dominant theme. I have reinforced this theme with dark warm colors, contrasts with a mottled background.
Madeline is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil Dura-Lar artist mylar film. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It is mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
