Gustave Flaubert's debut novel Madame Bovary was banned initially banned for its overt sexuality, the author and his text were eventually acquitted and it went on to become renowned as a masterpiece of modernist literature.

In this Limited Edition print I have utilised Madame Bovary's notoriety with this revisiting of my painting 'La Bibliophile', this time in a fitting 'French Rose' pink.

Using a technique that merges a background of traditional illustration with digital art, this unique artwork is printed on a 190gsm fine art paper, with a rich textured finish and archival quality.

Each 12x12'' Limited Edition print arrives signed/numbered on the front and sealed safely in a sturdy parcel tube.
