The landscape of the evening sunset in the Himalays mountains. The sun goes down and the mountains are illuminated with yellow and gold colors. The peaks are covered with snow, strong, powerful, energetic.

Machapuchare - 'Fishtail' - is a mountain, part of the Annapurna mountain range in the Himalayas in the north of central Nepal.
The mountain owes its name "Fishtail" to the shape of its two peaks, that is viewed from the west as a figure resembling the tail of a giant fish.
The mountain is revered by the local population as the home of the god Shiva, and snow feathers are considered the smoke of his divine essence.

This is a unique, one of a kind original oil painting. It was done in oil on canvas stretched on a wooden frame. The painting is sold unframed.
