Original artwork description:

Every estuary and river mouth round the coast has its own complement of elderly ex-ships lifeboats converted by would-be sailors; people who in their day job were/are carpet fitters, school janitors and plumbers and who hanker after a life afloat or have always longed for the opportunity to go sea angling as and when the mood took them.
This is a stylised and abstracted view of these 'converted' boats with their built on hen houses and sun lounges. Clients in waiting for the RNLI.
