'Mabon's Autumn Festival' original, textured, mixed media painting, with gold-leaf and metallic paint. Mabon celebrates the Autumn Equinox around 21st September; gradually the leaves will turn the landscape gold, orange, red, bronze, and rust. Inspirations and links to art history - the Post-Impressionists characterised by the emotional and symbolic use of colour, and stressing the brushstrokes on the canvas rather than realism. The painting is ready to unwrap and hang, or it can be taken to a professional framer for a specially made canvas frame if preferred. The painting is signed on the front and on the back by artist Cyndy Cmyth, and it is sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.
