Mabel’s story , in this work, I sought to capture the essence of contemplation and reflection . Using acrylics I mixed Impressionism and expressionism capturing the moment of faraway thoughts , daydreaming . The woman is from a period of the 1950´s , truly beautiful women with a simple but strong style. I left a space around her without paint wanting the painting to appear as though it was cut out from a magazine and pasted onto a scrapbook .
