MOMENTI is a metal work that fuses the rigidity of metal with a surprising visual dynamism.
Made of cast aluminium plates on an oxidised bronze plate, the work plays with geometries and material contrasts to create a composition that conveys a sense of energy and movement.
The two square aluminium elements seem to float, overlapping with a slight inclination that breaks the rigidity of the symmetry.
Inside them, circular recesses suggest mechanisms, gears or perhaps the idea of time passing, recalling the work's title.
To emphasise this feeling of dynamism, we find metallic rays expanding radially, like beams of light or explosions of energy, creating a contrast with the dark background.
The oxidised bronze of the frame adds a further level of depth, evoking the action of time on matter.
This irregular, organic surface contrasts with the precision of the central geometric shapes, creating a dialogue between order and chaos, permanence and transformation.
MOMENTI is a work that invites the viewer to reflect on the nature of time and the tension between stillness and change.
The choice of materials and the compositional balance demonstrate the artist's mastery in using metal as a means of expression, transforming it into something dynamic and vibrant.
