Original artwork description:

A black waterproof pen and watercolour wash plein-air painting sketch of Lynmouth Harbour boats. This a very loose sketch with strong expressive black marks. I paint regularly with our local art group sometimes teaching diffent techniques and materials. In this case I was trying a new watercolour paper. Painted in pen and watercolour paint on Arches hot pressed 300gm - 140 lb 18cm x 26cm watercolour paper. This sketch will look lovely framed where it can be viewed across a small room.
