Original artwork description:

A colourful small oil painting of Luskentyre beach, on the isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast coast of Scotland. Painted in blue and yellow in a semi abstract impressionist style. In this study I have tried to portray the quiet tranquil atmosphere of this deserted beach, with its white sand and crystal clear sea.
Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white hand painted wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
