Artwork description:

I love lupin, but I've never had any luck growing them. So I'm channeling some lupin...and butterflies and a hummingbird. Imaginary garden scene!

I drew this image onto linoleum, cut it out, inked it up with oil-based ink, printed it onto Strathmore paper and painted it with gouache. I like it a lot. It will have to take the place of a real garden with lupin and hummingbirds!
