Painted in warm sultry colours reminiscent of summer and early autumn days on the Cornish coastline, Luminous Horizons suggests a coastal vista with rocky outcrops, hot reflections and miraging horizons, but is open to interpretation for the viewer. Paul draws on his recollections of many stays and visits the the Hebrides, Cornwall, and his home county of cumbria and the Solway Firth.
At 125cm wide it makes a striking statement piece. Tray framed in white and painted in acrylic with translucent glazes and impasto textures.
