This painting is built on layers of hidden complexity to achieve the right nuances of color and texture. Like most of my works, it negotiates the boundary between the concrete and the metaphysical. Although abstract in conception, my art is often inspired by the colors, rhythms, and seasons of the Icelandic landscape. I invite viewers to enjoy my work and reinterpret it in new and personal ways.
