This work is inspired by the subtle tension of introspection and the everyday struggles of human emotion. I drew inspiration from both the complexity of modern existential themes and the classical representation of human vulnerability in art history.
The absence of legs symbolizes a lack of grounding or stability, reflecting emotional or existential vulnerability. It can represent feeling disconnected from one's foundation or reality, as though the subject is suspended between states—perhaps between action and passivity, presence and absence, or self-assurance and uncertainty.
