An incongruous element literally coming from outside disrupts an interior made of a pattern of black lines on a white background. The disruptor acts on the drawing which it disorganizes by forcing it to follow its shape. As it moves away, the pattern calms down and soon resumes its regular rhythm of vertical lines. Let's compare this with an event in life that arrives suddenly and violently disrupts it: the more the event moves away in time, the more our life resumes, as best it can, its peaceful thread.
