Original artwork description:

Lowland Gorilla - Watching
Original watercolor painting.

I love to paint animals. I look for their personalities and that comes out in my paintings. The gorilla seems to me to be pensive, but watching. Calmly surveying his surroundings. The coloring and the background helps set the mood.
Painted in my studio, using my own sketches and photos as reference. I did not make the gorilla pose for me :-)

Original watercolor painting, 8" x 10" on acid free watercolor board.* One of a kind, signed by me on the front.

Image size: 8" x 10"

* Watercolor board is top quality watercolor paper mounted to a rigid acid-free backing board.

Materials used:

watercolor board, watercolor
